St Canice's Cathedral

As part of our history programme, 5th and 6th Class visited St Canice's Cathedral on 17th May to explore the history of Kilkenny for themselves.

Energy Flag!

On 26th May next 3 representatives from our Green Schools Committee will be heading into Hotel Kilkenny to collect our hard earned 2nd Green Flag!  Well done to all involved!

From Caterpillar to Butterfly!

 

Rory minded our caterpillar cocoons over the Easter holidays.  He did a great job and 3 painted lady butterflies emerged!

Butterfly Bonanza!

A mysterious box arrived in the post this week...

We were delighted to discover our newest members of class had arrived safe and sound, 5 caterpillars destined to become painted lady butterflies!
